What other characters do you play here? noneThat's the last of them. Akiva looked down at the hands that once held four separate folders for four separate superiors. She had no problem delivering these to them, in fact if there was no need for document delivery then she probably wouldn't even be on the ship. She'd be back home or still at the Academy. The one thing that irked her however, was the fact that a handful of officers usually wanted her to bring them something, at the same time, and they were never in the same place.
Have you been a member before? If so, please state what character you played. no I'm a newbie
Name: Akiva Jeane Caro
Aliases: AJ, Kiv, Kiva, Kiva-Jeane
Age: 18
Affiliation: Starfleet
Personality:
Akiva is a talkative young woman who has no problem going up and starting a conversation with someone. Having grown up with all boys she isn't quite sure how to be a typical girl. She relates more to boys and it's much easier for her to befriend them than it is for her to befriend girls. She can be very sarcastic at times, well most of the time, but she can be serious if and when she needs to be. The girl is rather smart. When it comes to her job, she often has to write things twice. Once as it's happening, or being told to her, and then again to make the writing better incase someone else wants to see the records. She also has some slight organizational issues, and is often having to dig through things to find what it is she needs. However, once she finds what she needs, she will set it aside and try to find something to label it with, something she should do in the first place, but always forgets to. She is also somewhat of a klutz, and usually walks with her head down, looking at her feet, so that she doesn't trip over them. She loves to question things and people, especially to see what their motives are about something, or how they see a situation. Her favorite person to question is Mr. Logic himself, Spock, and in a close second is the ship's captain, Kirk, as they usually have completely opposite ways of thinking and doing things
Species: human
Physical Description:
Akiva is a small girl. She stands only at about 5'5 and weighs in at around 120 pounds, if not a little less. Her hair is a dark brown color, and she usually has it pulled back in a ponytail, with her bangs and a little extra not being long enough to fit inside the band. These hairs fall around her face, shaping it a little. If she were to ever let her hair down it would probably fall past her shoulders a little. Her skin is a slight snow-like complexion, and her lips are a pale pink. Underneath her thin eyebrows are two big green eyes, which people often say are her best feature. At times when she is allowed to be out of her Starfleet uniform she can be found in jeans and t-shirts, sometimes even a pair of shorts.

History: It started a little over 24 years ago when a young man named Peter and a young woman named Anya met in a coffee shop outside of Queensland in New Zealand. Peter was working as the barista and Anya had come in for a cup of coffee. She was the only one in the store and the two started up a conversation. One thing led to another and he asked her out on a date. They started to date and after a year Peter proposed to Anya. A few months later, they were married with a traditional Jewish wedding. A year went by before they welcomed their first child into the world, a son named Tinem. They loved the little boy with everything they had, and did their best to give him everything he wanted. When he was three years old they welcomed their second child, another boy, Brent. With two kids they now had to split the spending between them, trying to do so as evenly as possible. Another three years passed when Anya found out she was pregnant once again. This time it was supposed to be a little girl.
The pregnancy went normal like the others had, but the day that Anya gave birth, she lost too much blood and died. Peter named the litttle girl Akiva Jean after Anya's grandparents, Akiva having been her grandfather's name, and Jean her grandmother. Anya had been close to them, as they'd practically raised her. Akiva grew up around sports, trucks, and action figures. Her father wasn't quite sure how to raise a girl, so he raised her as if she were just another boy. There were no dolls or dresses, but that was okay to Akiva, she'd much rather go out and play in the mud with her brothers and their friends.
When she was younger, she thought everything about her life was great. She had a loving father, and brothers who would stick up for her, if she ever needed them to. However as she started to get older she saw that things weren't that great. Her father was struggling to put food on the table and had even picked up a second job, working the late shift at a metal yard. Wanting to do what she could to help, she decided to leave and enroll in Star Fleet. If she wasn't at home that was just one less mouth for him to have to feed. At only 14 years of age she passed the entrance test and was admitted into the Academy.
During her time at the Academy she was often seen as the girl who like to question things. Usually this was authority, though she never tried to be impolite about it. She was also a quick learner, as she had always been, and moved through her classes with some ease. Of course there were times she struggled just a little, but she managed to overcome that, and always managed to pass. When the fleet went out she was assigned to the USS Enterprise. Seeing that she could easily jot down every word that someone told her, she was placed on the ship in records, where she compiles and manages information regarding the Enterprise, it's missions, and the assignments given out.
Sample Post:
This always resulted her in running from one end of the ship to the other, countless times through-out the day. Of course this did make her familiar with the ship and it's corridors. She walked, hoping that it would be at least a few minutes before someone called her again. Someone always needed something jotted down or something else along those lines. That's why she always carried a notebook. That's where all her logs and information on the day was kept.
If you opened it up, it would probably look like some sort of chicken-scratch, but that's because of how fast her hand moved across the page as someone is dictating to her what to write. It was at night that she re-wrote everything in a separate one, her hand writing there, much better, in account that she wasn't rushed to write it.
She opened the notebook and started to flip through, making sure she had everything down, so far that day, that she needed. If not she'd either have to recall from her own memory, or go ask, more than likely it would have to be the captain. As she searched she felt something get caught on her. Whatever it was, sent her to the ground with a thud and the notebook flying up into the air and falling a few feet out from where she had.
