out among the stars I sail,
way beyond the moon
in my silver ship i sail
a dream that ended to soon
now I know exactly who I am,
and what im here for
and I will go sailing no more
Space. That Final Frontier. A place where the line between imagination and reality can become blurred. In the blink of an eye, someone's whole world can be changed, for better or for worse. What is it about the unknown universe that both intrigues and frightens us? We strive to learn more about it, yet cower in fear when we are confronted by it. In the vast scheme of time, we are nothing but specks. Curious and ambitious but specks all the same. It was only natural for our species to reach out and see what was beyond that golden horizon. What we found was beyond our wildest dreams. New worlds, new civilizations and new friends to make. But with the good comes the bad. Friends were not at every turn. The Federation was born with a purpose, a plan to unite and to protect but also to explore and to learn.
all the things I thought I'd be,
all the brave things i'd done
vanished like a snowflake,
with the rising of the sun
never more to sail my ship,
where no man has gone before
and I will go sailing no more
Newly appointed Captain James T. Kirk has one mission: to explore strange new worlds; to seek out new life and new civilizations. The crew of young hopefuls stand behind him, ready for the adventures that will undoubtedly come their way. Together they will learn the value of teamwork and alone they will discover who they are and what they will be. Friends will be made and enemies created. No mission is too small and no task too big. Their differences will unite them, make them stronger.
no it can't be true
I could fly if I wanted to
like a bird in the sky,
I believe I can fly
why I'd fly
Tensions run high between the Federation and the Klingon Empire, new races, friendly and dangerous, make first contact every day, planets are found and fought over. Among the chaos of the galaxy the crew's future is undetermined but
... They will be brighter. They will be better. They will be legends ...
clearly now, I will go sailing, no more
They will boldly go where no one has gone before ... AND BEYOND
