TO BOLDLY GO WHERE NO MAN HAS GONE BEFORE
The Year is 2258, and James Tiberius Kirk has assumed his destiny
as captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise. After saving Earth, along with
all other planets belonging to the Federation of Free Planets, the
crew of the noble ship now faces another threatening force, this
time from within Starfleet and perhaps even within their own ship.
Dignitaries throughout the galaxy, all of whom hold distinguishing
roles within the Federation, have fallen victim to assassination. As
of the moment, the death toll stands at thirteen with serious precautions
being taken by anyone who may be considered a target. Through
a great deal of hard work, Starfleet Intelligence has com across the
knowledge that it is an attempt to destroy the Federation from the
inside out. Lieutenant Laurence Cavil was the first to admit (after a
great deal of persuasion) that there was a organization seeking to
end the Federation, and even more worrisome was the fact that the
organization operation from within Starfleet.
Two days after letting the cat out of the bag, Lieutenant Laurence
Cavil was found dead in his holding cell with the words, “FROM THE
INSIDE OUT” etched into the flesh of on his bare chest. Fortunately,
Intelligence managed to extract a good deal of information out of the
traitor before his death, but unfortunately, not even members of the
organization, labelled ‘INSIDE’ by Starfleet Intellegence, know the faces
and names others within ‘INSIDE’. It operates on a high level of secrecy,
and as of the moment Stafleet has been unable to take any further action,
for there is not significant amount of evidence against any individual in
Starfleet. Trust has now become a dangerous thing to give away, and
times grow dark as the work of the Federation is now threatened once again.
